Environmental Resources

To help facilitate the study of environmental, historic, and cultural impacts, KDOT followed the procedures outlined by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The NEPA process documents the social, economic, and environmental impacts of major projects. This process ensures that environmental information is available to agencies, public officials, and citizens before decisions are made and before actions are taken.
